Academics and Research
The subjects of study at the department are basic microbiology, physiology, genetics, and taxonomy of microbiology. Food microbiology, milk and dairy products in agriculture, and environment industry are also included.
Graduates are able to work as an expert or a researcher in public or private agencies such as the National Center for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology, food and drug agencies and cosmetic industries.
