There are various fields of study in the Department of Biochemistry including plant biochemistry, animal biochemistry, environmental biochemistry, applied Biochemistry in agriculture and industry, and general biochemistry, which is a subject that describes the structure, properties, and chemical changes of biomolecules in living organisms.

Botany includes studies of all aspects of plant life, from the cellular level to the whole plant. Metabolic growth regulators, tissue culture, and creating new species of plants are also active research fields in our department.

The department offers study related to basic knowledge of nuclear radiation, health and prevention, radiation measurement techniques, radiation biology, environmental techniques for radiography, radiation and mutations, nuclear analysis, radiation and isotope use in agriculture, nuclear medicine etc.

Graduates from our department can find themselves working as professors in academic institutions, or as researchers in public or private agencies related to biology, agriculture and utilization of radiation and nuclear energy, such as the National Institute of Nuclear Technology, hospitals and industrial plants that use radioactivity to control products.

Department of Zoology offers biological studies of animals and humans ecology, the relationship between plants and animals, diversity and evolution of life, principles of biology, cell biology, developmental biology for cell culture and electron microscopy techniques, zoology, study of anatomy, physiology, parasitology, animal ecology, vertebrates, and invertebrates.

Graduates from our department can find themselves working as professors at universities, researchers, or scientists in public or private agencies, Department of Forestry, Department of Agriculture, hospital research unit, Department of Livestock Development, Forensic Science Institute, various industrial plants such as food and pharmaceutical factories.
