Research & Innovation

Doctor of philosophy program in bioscience has main policy to enhance research quality up to international excellence. We are doing research covering various areas and expertise from basic to applied sciences, and frontier to innovation researches. We have dedicated Ph.D. students to create novel ideas and ready to extend the know-how. We facilitate a well-equipped central laboratory with modern scientific instruments for in-housed and external service. We promote research network of domestic and international institutions both in academic and industrial linkages. We encourage staff/student exchanges, collaborative development of technology, and cooperation with industries. We are opening for research collaboration and seeking for motivated partners.

 

Our current bioscience research contributes into six research clusters, namely 1) Agriculture and Food, 2) Biodiversity for Bioeconomy, 3) Biotechnology and Bioenergy, 4) Medical Science and Health, 5) Bioinformatics and Systems Biology, and 6) Drug Discovery and Natural Products.
