On behalf of the Microscopy Society of Thailand and Kasetsart University, it is our pleasure to welcome you to the 36th International conference of the Microscopy Society of Thailand (MST36), to be held from 26-29 March 2019, at Rama Gardens Hotel Bangkok, Thailand.

We anticipate that the Conference will attract over 300 scientists working within and outside the microscopy sector. There will be a large interactive trade exhibition where leading suppliers are set to launch ground-breaking new instruments.

We are planning an outstanding scientific program led by world-renowned plenary speakers, that will not only be a platform to showcase exciting new developments in microscopy, but will also demonstrate the transformational role of microscopy in underpinning a range of physical and life sciences.

Objectives of the Conference
The aim of MST36 is to encourage participation amongst the MST members, academic researchers, university students and private companies to exchange knowledge and expertise via discussions and scientific presentations at the international standard, as well as to strengthen the academic activities and research in all aspects of microscopy, and to learn about the latest development in the field of microscopy.

The scope of the Conference
The program includes plenary lectures from outstanding researchers in the field of microscopy, invited talks from oversea and Thai experts, technical seminars on new developments in microscopy, oral and poster presentations, photo contest, and commercial exhibitions by various manufacturers.

The scope of the conference include;
•The application of microscopy and microanalysis in Physical Science, Biological Science and Medical Science.
•The development of microscopy and microanalysis techniques.

Presenters are requested to submit abstract and are encouraged to submit a full paper (optional) for

  • The conference proceedings (to be distributed at the conference) or
  • Microscopy and “Microanalysis Research-The Journal of The Microscopy Society of Thailand (Microsc. Microanal. Res.)
